1 (10 inch) angel food cake

Let ice cream sit on the shelf for a while 'until it is soft enough where you can spread easily (do not let dissolve).
Pull angel food cake into 2 cm pieces. Layercake crumbs on the bottom of a 9-inch or 10 inch tube pan. With a large knife, spread a layer of soft ice cream on cake crumbs. Add another layer of cake on top of ice. Repeat the layers until you have the cake and ice used.
Put the cake in the freezer and freeze for 2 to three hours. Before serving, carefully remove cake from pan and place on a plate. At the top of your favorite Sundae Sauce.

When ready to serve ice cream, cooking oil and heat in a heavy skillet or deep fryer to 375 degrees.
Place each scoop of ice cream in a wire frying basket or slotted spoon. Cook one or two balls in a period of 10 to 15 seconds until the level is agolden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve immediately. Garnish with whipped topping, Maraschino drizzled honey and candles.
